Jessica White (born June 22, 1984 in Buffalo, New York) is an American
model and occasional actress.

Biography

At the age of 16, she was scouted in her hometown of Buffalo, New York, and had gone to Personal Best modeling school at age sixteen.[citation needed] In Paris, she signed a cont

ract with the IM

G agency and over the next six months landed campaigns for CoverGirl, Chloé, and Gap.

She was soon walking the runways for New York’s top designers, i

ncluding Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs and Tommy Hilfiger. Tyra Banks dubbed her "the model of her generation."[2] In June 2007, White signed a contract with cosmetics company Maybelline.

She has done editorials for Harper's Bazaar, Teen Vogue, King and covers shots for Surface and Trace magazines. In 2003, White was chosen for a coveted shoot in Sports Illustrated's famed Swimsuit Issue. She was also featured in the 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 issues. In addition to

working with world-class photographers she was the object/subject of several Joanne Gair body painting works in these editions.[3][4]

White was part of Elite Plus, a subdivision of Elite Model Management, in New York City until it was terminated.[citation needed] On October 14, 2009, she was feature

d on America's Next Top Model.

Personal life

She was reportedly dating Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens, as seen in Owens's VH1 reality show, The T.O. Show. She has been romantically linked to actor Sean Penn.[5] She was als

o rumored to be dating R&B singer J. Holiday. On October 24, 2010, White was arrested in Ne

w York City for assaulting a woman and pulling her hair


Acting

In 2006, White had a small role in Big Momma's House 2 and has appeared in music videos for Big & Rich, singer John Legend, rapper Jay-Z(Change Clothes), Robin Thicke (The Sweetest Love), and R&B singer Trey Songz (Neighbors Know My Name). In 2008 she appeared in The Young and the Restless.
